Eligibility

Before you start your application, please ensure you have read the 2025 Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants Guidelines to ensure your school or group is eligible to apply and your project meets the requirements.

The grants are open to schools (primary/secondary), Scouts, Girl Guides, youth groups, and Junior Landcare groups in Victoria. Cross-border schools etc that have Victorian students are eligible to apply.

Applications close at 3pm Friday  (late applications will not be accepted).

The Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants program is only open to schools (primary/secondary/specialist), Scouts, Girl Guides, youth groups, and Junior Landcare groups. 

Funding for Bush Kinder Grants is available through the Victorian Government's Bush Kinder Grant Program. These $6,000 grants support kindergartens to set up nature programs, giving children more opportunity to get outdoors and are open later in 2025.
